Together AI is an AI cloud and open source specialized company that was founded in California, USA in 2022. Its future competitiveness has been recognized recently by successfully attracting a Series B investment of 305 million dollars (447 billion won).



Together AI's main services include inference and fine tuning using AI open source, and construction of a low-cost GPU cluster based on cooperation with NVIDIA. Also, leading researchers famous for developing 'FlashAttention', an innovative algorithm in the field of AI efficiency, are participating, and Zoom, which has 500,000 customers including The Washington Post and Salesforce, is participating.



SK Telecom is seeking cooperation with Together AI regarding 'Aster (A*),' a global personal AI agent preparing to enter the North American market, Large Language Model (LLM), and GPU efficiency. This is because Together AI possesses AI model learning and fine-tuning capabilities and computing resource efficiency technology implementation capabilities. In



addition, it is exploring additional business cooperation items and synergy creation opportunities across the AI ​​field, such as its own LLM, A.X (AX), and AI DC.



For example, it is explained that by utilizing Together AI's GPU computation efficiency technology 'Together Kernel Collection' and model compression quantization technology 'Q-TIP', it is possible to drastically reduce the AI ​​model capacity, effectively reducing the initial GPU investment cost and operating cost.



This investment is part of SK Telecom's continued expansion of AI models and AI platforms over the past two years. Representative companies include
