According to the industry on the 18th, this year's GTC is expected to discuss innovative technologies in various fields, such as physical artificial intelligence (AI), represented by robots and self-driving cars, and agentic AI, which performs complex tasks autonomously.
On the 18th (local time), NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang is scheduled to give a keynote speech focusing on AI and accelerated computing technology at the SAP Center.
In this keynote speech, Jensen Huang is expected to disclose information about the next-generation graphics processing unit (GPU) series 'Rubin', which will be released in 2026. There is also a possibility that the 'Blackwell Ultra', which improves the performance of the latest GPU 'Blackwell' unveiled at GTC last year, will be announced.
On the 20th, Quantum Day will be held for the first time since GTC was held. At this event, key figures in the quantum computer industry will discuss the topic of 'The Present and Future of Quantum Computing' with Jensen Huang.
Quantum Day will also feature technical sessions with partners and NVIDIA researchers. GTC attendees can participate in workshops and practical training led by more than 80 practical instructors provided by NVIDIA Training.
Attendees can take certification exams that can verify their AI and accelerated computing skills for free. In addition, new professional certifications in accelerated data science and AI networking will be offered, and workshops on generative AI, agent AI, and CUDA-based accelerated computing will be held.
Jensen Huang, CEO, said, "GTC is where the best scientists, engineers, developers, and creators come together to imagine and create a better future. I hope that everyone at GTC will be the first to experience the newly evolved NVIDIA computing, as well as innovative technologies in AI, robotics, and art that will transform industries and society."
According to the industry, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix will also be participating in GTC and presenting their memory technologies, such as lectures on the topic of HBM.
Samsung Electronics' Device Solutions (DS) Division and SK Hynix will be participating in GTC 2025 until the 21st (local time) and setting up exhibition booths. They will introduce HBM products such as graphic DRAM (GDDR7), low-power DRAM (LPDDR5X), and high-capacity solid-state drives (SSD), as well as HBM3E and HBM4. Park Jeong-soo,
HBM Product Planning TL for SK Hynix, will present on the topic of 'HBM: The Backbone of High-Performance Computing and AI.' It emphasizes its strengths such as resolving the requirements such as the increasing amount of data and performance in the AI era, as well as the direction of its own HBM development, and improving power efficiency per data bit.
Researcher Kim Ki-hong plans to explain the product strategy and readiness status for automotive memory products that SK Hynix is working on as a future growth engine.
LG AI Researcher will also be attending GTC for the first time this year. It is expected that the ExaOne, which has been tested for employees, will be demonstrated externally at this event. It has been reported that LG AI Researcher Director Kyung-hoon Bae will visit the site in person.
