AWE is Asia's largest home appliance exhibition with approximately 1,000 participating companies and over 360,000 visitors, and is one of the top three global home appliance and electronics exhibitions along with CES and IFA in the United States.

LG Electronics will present artificial intelligence (AI) home solutions in a 1,104㎡ exhibition hall under the theme of 'LG Electronics' Empathy Intelligence for Diverse Lifestyles' at this year's AWE. It will tailor-make suggestions for AI appliances, IoT technologies, etc. and introduce 'AI Core Tech' that adds AI to core component technologies.

LG Electronics implemented an AI home based on empathy intelligence at this exhibition. The highlight zone installed at the entrance of the booth shows how the AI home hub 'LG ThinQ On' detects customers' words, actions, and environment through sensors installed throughout the booth, converses with customers, and controls connected home appliances and IoT devices.

A space has also been created to easily introduce AI Core Tech. AI Core Tech applies AI to core component technologies that LG Electronics has accumulated for decades, such as motors and compressors, to improve both product performance and energy efficiency.

Visitors can see AI Core Tech applied to various home appliances, such as: △A washing machine that applies AI DD motors; △Air conditioners that analyze spaces with AI to set the optimal temperature; △A refrigerator that uses AI to identify customers' usage patterns and adjust the temperature to keep food fresh; △A oven that uses AI to analyze food ingredients with an internal camera and recommend customized recipes.

Visitors can also experience the 'Multi-AI' function that provides both on-device and cloud-based AI solutions, and the AI PC Gram equipped with Intel's next-generation processor, the 'Intel Core Ultra Processor Series 2'.

Ryu Jae-cheol, head of LG Electronics HS Business Division, said, "We will promote LG Electronics' innovative products and technologies to Asian customers and solidify our position as a global premium home appliance brand."
