Honda Korea announced the official launch of the '2025 New Odyssey' by revealing it at Honda Mobility Cafe 'The Go' in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 27th.

The Honda Odyssey has been consistently popular since its first release in 1994, selling close to 3 million units based on the concept of 'a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable space for the family.' It has established itself as a differentiated family car through best-in-class safety and space utilization, powerful driving performance, and various convenience features that realize the pleasure of movement.

In January, it also won the '2025 Best Customer Value Award' minivan category selected by the 'U.S. News & World Report' in the U.S. for the fifth consecutive year. The 2025 New Odyssey is a partially modified model with upgraded convenience features along with changes in interior and exterior design.

The 2025 New Odyssey has been reborn with a more dynamic style reminiscent of a sports utility vehicle (SUV).

The front has a newly designed bumper, front grille, and black grille bar. The rear has a rear bumper with emphasized angular lines, a black grille bar, smoky-toned tail lamps, and vertical reflectors to complete a strong and presence design. The newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels were also applied to create a dynamic and sleek look that contrasts with the magnificent side character line.

The interior has a new brown-black two-tone perforated leather seat to create a modern yet comfortable and cozy atmosphere. In addition, the 2nd row magic slide seat that can be reclining, moved forward/backward/left/right, removed and folded allows for various seat arrangements depending on the number of passengers and usage situation.

The instrument panel is equipped with a 7-inch thin film transistor (TFT) meter with improved readability and a 9-inch center display audio with improved size and performance compared to the previous model. The New Odyssey comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard.

The rear entertainment system (RES) located on the upper part of the second row has also been upgraded. The monitor has grown to 12.8 inches, the largest in its class, and supports Full HD-level high resolution. Unlike the previous model, the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) function allows customers to freely connect streaming devices, smart devices such as smartphones and tablets, and headphones according to their tastes, allowing them to watch various online video service (OTT) contents like a smart TV. The

'CabinWatch™' function, which allows passengers in the second and third rows to check their status in real time through the display screen, and the 'CabinTalk™' function, which allows passengers in the first row to hear their voices through the speakers and headphones in the second and third rows, help passengers communicate smoothly even inside the car.

The powertrain of the 2025 New Odyssey is equipped with a 3.5L direct injection i-VTEC engine, which achieves a maximum output of 284 horsepower and a maximum torque of 36.2 kg m, realizing powerful driving performance in its class. In addition, a variable cylinder control system that deactivates the three cylinders in situations that do not require large output, such as constant speed driving and gradual acceleration, and an electronically controlled 10-speed automatic transmission were applied. In addition, idle stop (stop and go), ECON (eco-friendly) mode, and shutter grill were applied to improve fuel efficiency.

The advanced driver assistance system 'Honda Sensing' includes the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) with enhanced pedestrian detection, Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) system with Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with low-speed follow function, Auto High Beam System (AHB), and Blind Spot Information System (BSI).

In particular, at the 2025 New Odyssey unveiling event held on this day, actor Shin Hyun-joon, who has been an ambassador for Honda Korea since 2021, introduced the advantages of the Odyssey that he experienced with his family.
