'XWAVE-ONE' developed by KT SAT allows users to selectively utilize the high stability of geostationary satellites and the fast speed of low-orbit satellites according to their usage environment. Therefore, it is characterized by providing a high-quality satellite network service anytime, anywhere. It
also includes an integrated solution that enables network usage status tracking and usage management. It has related systems such as purchase and payment so that data can be purchased on-site and individual network usage is possible after the launch of the Starlink service in the future.
X-Wave One, which provides a seamless network with the function of connecting multiple networks in parallel, such as geostationary/low-orbit satellite communications and LTE mobile communications, is optimized for large ships.
KT SAT CEO Seo Young-soo said, "We will strive to provide differentiated customer value through the 'multi-orbit' technology presented by X-Wave One," and "We plan to grow into a solution provider leading the digital transformation in the marine industry through steady product advancement."
Meanwhile, KT SAT has been preparing a low-orbit satellite network service in partnership with Starlink Korea since 23 years ago, and plans to provide Starlink services centered on the marine industry, such as large ships, as soon as domestic related approvals are completed this year.
