11bit Studios Releases Pre-Trailer for SF Adventure 'The Alters'

11bit Studios released a new preview trailer for their mystery SF adventure 'The Alters' on the 26th. The new trailer for



The Alters, which was revealed at 'IGN Fan Fest 2025', where North American gaming media IGN introduces the main features of highly anticipated games scheduled to be released this year, deals with the question, 'What if The Alters played The Alters?'

The trailer, which is comprised of a total of 2 minutes and 34 seconds, begins with a scene where miner Jan Dolski discovers a mysterious resource, 'Lapidium Crystal', while exploring various parts of the planet. At the same time, Jan's personality variants, 'Alters', who were playing this scene on a large screen, each express their own opinions on how the game should proceed, and eventually, due to a wrong choice, Jan in the game is engulfed in the flames of the sun and faces the 'Game Over' scene.



After the game is over, the Alters are shown to approach the game more carefully, synthesizing their opinions on everything from training methods to building new facilities and reinforcing the interior of the base. As can be seen from the way the Alters differ and clash with each other throughout the video, it suggests that working with Alters, who are different personalities, is by no means easy.



Meanwhile, The Alters is a mystery SF adventure game that combines the simulation genre in which miner Jan Dolski builds and expands a base in order to survive on a desolate planet where he crash-lands. It is scheduled to be released in the second half of this year, 2025, on various multi-platforms such as Microsoft's PC Game Pass, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
